Puji syukur kepada Tuhan Yesus Kristus atas penyertaan-Nya sehingga buku “Menjadi Seperti yang Kita Sembah: Teologi dan Spiritualitas Penyembahan kepada Kristus di Era Digital” dapat tersusun dan hadir di tangan pembaca. Buku ini lahir dari kerinduan untuk menolong umat Tuhan dari berbagai usia, latar belakang, dan tingkat pendidikan untuk memahami kembali hakikat penyembahan yang sejati dan bagaimana penyembahan itu membentuk kehidupan kita menjadi serupa dengan Kristus di tengah dunia yang semakin digital.
Selama beberapa tahun terakhir, penulis melihat perubahan signifikan dalam cara manusia berinteraksi, berpikir, dan membangun relasi, termasuk relasi rohani dengan Tuhan. Ruang digital telah menjadi tempat di mana banyak hati dibentuk, entah menuju Kristus atau menjauh dari-Nya. Karena itu, buku ini ditulis bukan hanya untuk akademisi atau teolog, tetapi untuk seluruh tubuh Kristus: para pelayan gereja, pemimpin ibadah, jemaat awam, para orang tua, remaja-pemuda, hingga petobat baru yang sedang bertumbuh dalam iman. Setiap pembaca diajak melihat bahwa penyembahan bukan sekadar ritual di hari Minggu, tetapi sebuah proses transformasi yang berlangsung setiap hari dan menentukan siapa kita menjadi.
Buku ini sengaja dirancang dengan bahasa yang hangat, komunikatif, dan mudah dicerna, tanpa mengurangi kedalaman teologis yang diperlukan untuk memahami spiritualitas penyembahan secara benar. Setiap bab dilengkapi dengan ilustrasi visual yang dipilih secara khusus untuk menjadi stimulus bagi pembaca yang tidak terbiasa membaca buku teologi. Gambar-gambar tersebut bukan hanya dekorasi, tetapi pintu masuk untuk membantu pembaca merenungkan kebenaran firman Tuhan dengan cara yang lebih hidup dan dekat dengan pengalaman sehari-hari, terutama bagi jemaat awam dan generasi digital.
Harapan terbesar penulis ialah agar buku ini menjadi sarana perjumpaan pribadi dengan Kristus. Kiranya melalui pemahaman yang benar mengenai penyembahan, setiap pembaca semakin dibentuk oleh apa, lebih tepatnya oleh Siapa, yang mereka sembah. Sebab di era digital, banyak hal berpotensi menjadi ilah baru dalam kehidupan manusia. Tetapi ketika kita memilih menyembah Kristus dengan hati yang murni, terbuka, dan konsisten, Roh Kudus akan membawa kita pada transformasi yang nyata: karakter yang diperbarui, kasih yang diperdalam, kehidupan yang disucikan, dan tujuan hidup yang diarahkan kepada kekekalan.
Buku ini adalah undangan: undangan untuk kembali kepada pusat penyembahan yang sejati yaitu Yesus Kristus; undangan untuk mengalami perubahan hidup melalui hadirat-Nya; dan undangan untuk menuaikan iman yang kokoh di tengah dunia digital yang bergerak cepat. Semoga melalui buku sederhana namun sarat makna ini, setiap pembaca semakin rindu menyembah Kristus dan semakin serupa dengan-Nya.
Segala kemuliaan bagi Tuhan Yesus Kristus, Sang Raja yang layak disembah.
