Buku ini lahir dari keprihatinan sekaligus refleksi atas realitas zaman yang terus berubah dengan cepat, di mana kemajuan teknologi, globalisasi, dan arus disrupsi telah membawa dampak signifikan terhadap cara manusia berpikir, beriman, dan berteologi.

Dalam konteks perubahan global yang tidak menentu, Teologi Kristen ditantang untuk tetap relevan tanpa kehilangan esensinya sebagai refleksi iman yang berakar pada kebenaran firman Tuhan. Buku ini berupaya menghadirkan pemikiran-pemikiran kontekstual dan kritis tentang bagaimana teologi dapat menanggapi perubahan zaman secara konstruktif, sehingga iman Kristen tidak sekadar bertahan, tetapi juga menjadi terang dan garam bagi dunia modern yang penuh ketidakpastian.
